Portrait of Abhay Karandikar

A Note

I believe India’s development journey must be anchored in science, technology, innovation, and evidence-based policymaking — ensuring that research and deep-tech capabilities translate into inclusive national outcomes. It is a privilege to contribute as Member, NITI Aayog, building on prior service as Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, and on decades of academic and institutional leadership at IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur.
